Before leaving on winter break, I just wanted to take a moment to thank all of the students, parents and staff that I work with here at Bethke. Everyone has been so welcoming and great during my first semester here at Bethke and I look forward to the great and wonderful things we can do in the upcoming months.

We have had a lot of fun in the older grades this week by exploring the world using Google Earth. We visited the Grand Canyons, the Forbidden City in China and the Eiffel Tower in France. We're exhausted.
Well, we survived last week. We have been doing STAR, MAPS, and keyboard testing all last week and now we can get back to learning as we prepared for the winter break.
The second round of STAR testing will start around the second week of December. This is a reading test for the younger grades.
